  The Executive Chairman of the Nasarawa State Disability Rights Commission, Mr. Saleh Barde Keana, urged both public and private institutions to comply with the Discrimination against Persons with Disabilities (Prohibition) Act. During a visit to the Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic in Lafia, Nasarawa State. Mr. Saleh Barde Keana emphasized the importance of disability inclusion for national development. He pointed out that many public buildings are inaccessible to persons with disabilities, which violates the law requiring institutions to provide accessible facilities. Barde appreciated the Rector for implementing measures such as a five percent quota for employment, admissions, and free education for PWDs at the Polytechnic.
