Education is a fundamental aspect of human development and has been recognized as a critical tool for overcoming socioeconomic disparities.
For the majority of people, bursaries are a significant concern during their academic careers.
Providing financial support through bursaries to 1,000 Enone Students by Hon. Philip Agbese will form a key pillar of strategies to remove the financial barrier that prevents students from less affluent backgrounds from participating in higher education.
Human capital investment is important in economic development and therefore completion of school will equip learners with the necessary skills for work.
The lawmaker representing Ado/ Okpokwu/ Ogbadibo Federal Constituency, Hon Philip Agbese, has announced a bursary scheme for students in tertiary institutions across the three local government areas that make up the constituency.
Unveiling the scheme on 15th August 2023, the Enone Servant said, "It will capture 25 students per ward".
"Disbursement will commence on the 1st of September and 25 persons per ward in each of the 35 council wards in Ado/Ogbadibo/Okpokwu Federal Constituency will benefit from the initiative," the Deputy Spokesperson of the House of Reps added in a terse statement.
Agbese reassured that more interventions are coming targeted at improving the welfare of his people.
