BE DIGITALLY CREATIVE AND SKILLFUL

 I remembered vividly when I used to be actively online. A friend asked me that, "You wetin you dey always do online", I didn't answered him. TURNING POINT; Hey friend, the result of my activeness online is out.

I have learned multiple skills, craft, acquired vast knowledge via the internet. ThankGod for Covid-19 lockdown that made it possible for me to understand where the future is heading to (Digital Evolution).

LET ME SCHOOL YOU

As society continues to evolve beyond the industrial economy and the information economy, we are seeing personal connection, trust and authentic relationships emerge to become valuable commodities. This economy is significantly different from those that came before because inherent in this economy is the connection to a deeper sense of community, purpose and meaning.

So, how do we leverage the opportunities that a connection economy provides? There are some people in this world who naturally and easily build large networks and deep connections with wide range of diverse people from all over the world. Who are these people?

These people are often called Generation Z, and it is thought that they have an innate ability to connect and form relationships. Not all of us is born with this gift, but we can learn how to be better at it. Generation Z, we are literally the experts in the field of technology! They grew up with smartphones. 

These guys are incredible at multi-tasking! Yes, they spend hours on their phones, but let me reassure you that they check their phone while writing an essay and speaking to a friend directly. If this isn’t multi-tasking, then tell me what is.

Entire business models have emerged around the idea of connection and have quickly become enormously successful. They thrive by literally leveraging the principle that value lies in connections, simply connecting consumers to products or services they want, rather than providing them. For example: 

•Uber is the country’s biggest taxi service, but it doesn’t own any cabs.

•The largest media company—Facebook—creates no content

•Kickstarter and other crowdfunding sites make no investments, but funds acquired through them are projected to surpass traditional venture capital investments.

If I had to come up with a general motto that Generation Z lives by, it would probably be ‘Express Yourself’ or "Be yourself". And this is exactly what they do. In the world where rules and restrictions are paramount. The Generation Z have found their own way through it all.

Recent studies have shown that, Gen Z wish to have their own business in the future and be financially successful.
