The newly inaugurated Zamfara State Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal Dare, on Monday (29/05/2023) has made a superb appointment for the new administration in the State.

The appointment of the State Secretary General (SSG), Alh. Abubakar M. Nakwada is a significant step towards achieving that goal the good people of Zamfara State are all yearning for. Alh. Nakwada is expected to bring his wealth of experience in politics and governance to bear in helping the Governor implement his agenda for the state.

Alhaji Abubakar Nakwada, the new SSG, is a seasoned politician and administrator with years of experience in government. He was a member of the Federal House of Representatives from 1992 to 1993 and later served as Commissioner for Agriculture and Natural Resources in Zamfara State.

Governor Lawal has assured his oppositions that appointing Alh. Nakwada is based on merit and that he will not tolerate any form of corruption or malpractice in his administration. The major reason for appointing Alh. Abubakar Nakwada as the State Secretary General (SSG) to Zamfara state is to run an open and inclusive government that caters to the needs and aspirations of all the people of Zamfara State irrespective of their ethnicity, political or religious affiliations.

Zamfara State is currently facing several challenges, including insecurity, poverty, and unemployment. The new administration has promised to tackle these problems by initiating policies that will promote economic growth and development.

The people of Zamfara State are looking forward to the new administration’s policies and programmes, which they hope will bring about positive change and development in the state.

In summary, Governor Lawal’s appointment of his cabinet members is a significant step towards fulfilling his campaign promises. It is now up to his appointees to deliver on their duties and work towards the betterment of the people of Zamfara State.
I pray that the appointment of Alh. Abubakar M. Nakwada as the SSG to Zamfara State will play a significant role in helping the Governor implement his programmes and policies.
